Established in 2012 with a business model to initiate evidence-based approaches and source like-minded partners to solve “wicked” problems.
MISSION: Addressing barriers to education and employment for people experiencing disadvantage and to build diverse, inclusive, respectful workplaces, representative of the communities they serve in commercially sustainable ways.
Key projects include:
- developing the Leaders Rule Change (LRC) program challenging small to medium enterprises in manufacturing sector to reflect on how they remain competitive in globalized markets. (2012)
- partnering for JVEN funding in a consortium led by The Victorian Institute with AHS Hospitality, Crown Casino, Victoria Polytechnic (VU), Rob Rees (chef), and Whitelion. (2016)
- designing Inclusion Foundation’s Impact 21 program which supported individuals with Down Syndrome into customised employment, now delivered by Yooralla. (2017)
- responding the Victorian Government Department of Health & Human Services Discussion Paper on the Review of the Vulnerable people in emergencies policy.
- designing WorkAbility Pathways as a collaboration platform to better prepare, match, and support people with intellectual disability into open employment. Submitted for DSS funding with support from service providers, CMHA, disability associations and three Victorian departments. (2017 - 2021)
- submitting for DSS ILC funding to deliver LINK-UP Breaking down barriers in disability employment. LINK-UP aimed to engage with 200 people with disability and 160 employers to produce an audit of employer intent to employ people with disability enrolled with GOTAFE. (2022)
- responding to DSS Supported Employment Consultation (2024) – outlining the missing pillar of “education” in their delivery model. (2024)
- participated in Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Standards of Education Roundtables. (2025)
